These Wood Duck drakes were taken in a beaver swamp in eastern North Carolina where few people are willing to go.  The terrain is tough and the water can be 2’ one step and 6’ the next step.  No worries on this hunt, we had the WURD. 

I took this pair of wood ducks in another harsh beaver swamp that included a banded hen.  It’s always tough not knowing where the run (creek) is when walking through flooded timber.  Slow and easy is the best policy.  Losing my gun is not an option.  A lost day of hunting can’t be replaced…get your WURD today and protect your gun and your hunt.

This mixed bag was taken in Stuttgart Arkansas on January 3^rd.  The temperatures ranged from the upper teens / lower twenties to the mid thirties.  Most areas were extremely flooded by recent rains.  Deep water and ice were not a concern.  As you can see, the WURD is always on my gun in the event I fall or the gun is dropped and submerged in the frigid water.  When you’re nearly 1000 miles from home and only have two days to hunt, searching for a lost gun is not an option.  Get yours today !
